Al Nassr flew to Iran for the Asian Champions League match. Cristiano Ronaldo et al were warmly welcomed by the people of Persia.
The first matchday of Group E of the Asian Champions League brought together the Iranian club, Persepolis, and Al Nassr. The duel is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (20/9/2023) early morning WIB at the Azadi Stadium, Tehran.

Launch Daily Mail, the bus carrying the Al Nassr squad was greeted by hundreds of local fans. They chased the yellow bus to the team hotel, Espinas Palace Hotel.
Things didn’t get any better for Al Nassr upon arrival at the Espinas Palace Hotel. Hundreds of people filled the hotel lobby chanting ‘Ronaldo, Ronaldo’.
Outside the hotel, several fans climbed the hill to enter the Espinas Palace Hotel. Local Iranian media interviewed a small child in an Al Nassr uniform who was crying because he was not allowed to enter the hotel to meet Cristiano Ronaldo.
Security officers escorted Ronaldo and the rest of Al Nassr’s entourage to their room. One floor has been reserved for the Saudi Arabian club group with a special suite for CR7.
Iranian people are enthusiastic because Cristiano Ronaldo is coming to their country for the first time. The overflow of fans caused Al Nassr to cancel the team’s training session scheduled for the afternoon local time.
