List of injuries Manchester United getting longer. Now Aaron Wan-Bissaka had to be sidelined for several weeks due to injury.

MU announced Wan-Bissaka’s injury on its official website, Monday (18/9). The Red Devils said that the 25 year old defender suffered an injury in the match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Wan-Bissaka came on as a substitute in the 85th minute in the match at Old Trafford, Saturday (16/9) evening WIB. In their statement, MU said that Wan-Bissaka suffered an injury in the final minutes of the match.

“Further examinations will be needed to determine how long Wan-Bissaka will be out, but initial indications are that it will be several weeks,” read a statement from MU on the official website.

MU did not specify in detail the injury suffered by Wan-Bissaka. However, British media claimed that Wan-Bissaka had a hamstring injury.

Wan-Bissaka’s injury adds to the long list of MU players entering the treatment room. Erik ten Hag previously lost Raphael Varane, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Sofyan Amrabat.

After losing 1-3 to Brighton, Manchester United were waiting for Bayern Munich in the Champions League. MU will travel to the Allianz Arena on matchday 1 of the group phase on Thursday (21/9) early morning WIB.
