PKB Respects Najwa Shihab Emphasizes It Will Not Be Timses in the 2024 Presidential Election

Najwa Shihab emphasized that she would not be involved in any presidential candidate’s success team (timses), including the winning team of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin. PKB respects this decision.

“We respect it,” said PKB Vice Chairman, Jazilul Fawaid when contacted, Monday (19/9/2023).

Jazilul said there were many candidates being discussed to become captain of Timanas AMIN. However, Jazilul was reluctant to mention names.

“There are many but I won’t name them,” he said.

Previously, PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) explained the latest news regarding AMIN’s winning national team. Cak Imin said the name of the national team captain, AMIN, was still being discussed.

“The National Team (AMIN) is still in the process of being developed, taking inventory of the names of figures, looking for a Chairman, according to our expectations,” said Cak Imin in a statement shared by the PKB Public Relations Team, Monday (18/9/2023).

Cak Imin said that one of the names on the market for captain of the AMIN National Team was Najwa Shihab. However, he said, the name of AMIN National Team Captain was not final.

“Still, of all the alternatives, nothing is certain. One of them is Najwa Shihab, there are various names, many names, still not, still not, still being discussed, still being discussed,” he said.

Najwa Shihab also responded to Cak Imin’s statement. He emphasized that he had never been offered the position of team captain.

Najwa Shihab clarified Cak Imin’s statement regarding the captain of the AMIN national team via his IG Story as quoted on Monday (18/9/2023). Najwa uploaded a screenshot of the news which contained Cak Imin’s statement regarding the national team captain AMIN.

“Clarification. I have never been invited to communicate, let alone offered the position of team leader by any presidential candidate,” said Najwa Shihab.

Najwa Shihab also emphasized that he would not be part of any candidate’s team in the 2024 presidential election.
