Foreigners Net Buy Rp 834 Billion When the JCI Rises, These Shares Are Many Purchased.

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed higher even though it opened lower, dragged down by Wall Street’s decline. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI rose 30.59 points or 0.43% to a level of 7,218,906 at the close of trading, Thursday (22/9).
The total volume of stock trading on the IDX on Thursday reached 30.96 million with a transaction value of Rp 14.37 trillion. There were 277 stocks that gained, 233 stocks that fell and 185 stocks that did not change.
The increase in the JCI was followed by net buying or net buy amounting to Rp 834.81 billion in all markets.

Foreign investors noted net buy The largest share was PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) of Rp 1.1 trillion. ISAT shares closed up 3.97% to Rp 7,200 per share. The total trading volume of ISAT shares reached 201.11 million with a transaction value of Rp 1.14 trillion.
Shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) were also bought up by foreigners amounting to Rp 116.91 billion. ADRO shares closed up 4.86% to Rp 4,100 per share. The total trading volume of ADRO’s shares reached 150.3 million with a transaction value of Rp 606.2 billion.
Then foreigners also collect a lot of shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) amounting to Rp 98.86 billion. BMRI shares closed down 0.81% to Rp 9,200 per share. The total trading volume of BMRI shares reached 57.84 million with a transaction value of Rp 533.6 billion.
