Indonesian National Volleyball Team entered the ranks of the youngest team in 2022 Asian Games (2023) when referring to the average age of team members.
The Indonesian National Volleyball Team has an average age of 24 years. This makes the Indonesian National Volleyball Team one of the youngest teams at the Asian Games.
There are a number of other teams that also have an average age of 24 years. They are Thailand, Mongolia and Cambodia.
Compared to other teams in Group F, Indonesia is the youngest team. Japan, the Philippines and Afghanistan both have an average age of 25 years.
Meanwhile, overall, the team with the oldest average age is Qatar. Qatar has an average age of 31 years.
In the Indonesian National Volleyball Team squad, the youngest player is Boy Arnez. Boy was born on October 22 2003 so he is currently 20 years old.
Meanwhile, the most senior player is Muhamad Malizi. Malizi will be exactly 29 years old on September 24.
Meanwhile, of the 12 players in the squad, the most are players born in 1999, totaling three players. They are Rakha Fahreza, Doni Haryono, and Jasen Natanael Kilanta.
