The wealth of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Nadiem Makarim, has increased by around IDR 3.6 trillion in a year. Now Nadiem is recorded as having assets of IDR 4.8 trillion.
This is known from the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) that Nadiem submitted to the Corruption Eradication Commission on March 31, 2023. This amount is Nadiem’s assets for 2022.
Viewed detikcom, Friday (26/5/2023), Nadiem reported owning seven parcels of land and buildings worth IDR 55,328,240,850 (IDR 55.3 billion). The land and buildings are spread across South Jakarta, Gianyar, to Rote Ndao.
Next, Nadiem reported owning a Honda Brio car worth IDR 162 million. He also has other movable assets worth IDR 752,313,000.
Nadiem has securities worth IDR 5,590,317,273,184 (IDR 5.5 trillion). He also has cash and cash equivalents worth IDR 12,271,733,513 (IDR 12.2 billion) and other assets worth IDR 3.4 billion.
Nadiem has a debt of IDR 790,761,956,789 (IDR 790 billion). So that Nadiem’s total assets amount to IDR 4,871,469,603,758 (IDR 4.8 trillion).
This number has increased compared to Nadiem’s assets in 2021. In 2021, Nadiem has assets of IDR 1,175,047,616,596 (IDR 1.1 trillion). This means that Nadiem’s assets have increased by around IDR 3.6 trillion in a year.
