PT Kao Indonesia asked to stop the alleged sexual harassment case during the ongoing legal process
Previously Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor had visited PT Kao Indonesia for direct discussions with representatives of PT Kao Indonesia.
“We were told earlier that PT Kao had asked PT Ikeda to temporarily lay off the manager who had problems while the law was in effect,” said Wisik Restu as AVP Legal, Compliance and Corporate Communications of PT Kao Indonesia in a statement received by tvOnenews.com, Friday (12/5/2023 ).
“We are very empathetic and regret the incident of alleged sexual violence in the work environment and provide the full support needed, especially to reporters during the legal process.”
“Both the reporter and the reported were employees of PT Ikeda who were stationed at PT Kao Indonesia. The form of support we provided was in the form of a commitment by directly asking PT Ikeda to deactivate the reported party,” he continued.
PT Kao firmly stated that it had asked PT Ikeda to oversee the case until it was finished.
