The Cartenz Peace Task Force Law Enforcement Team arrested two members of the armed criminal group (KKB) in two different locations in Mimika Regency, Papua Province. During the arrest, the police confiscated 113 ammunition.
Reporting from Antara, Papua Police Director General Kombes Faizal Rahmadani said that the team initially arrested the Constitutional Court on Friday (23/9/2022). The police confiscated 113 rounds of ammunition of various calibers and one revolver type airsoft gun.
“The ammunition that was secured consisted of 95 rounds of 5.56 mm caliber ammunition and 18 rounds of V2 sabhara rubber ammunition,” he explained.

Meanwhile, on Friday morning, at around 11.20 WIT, the team arrested BK in the SP 5 area, he said. He said from the results of the examination, both of them were members of the Intan Jaya Group KKB led by Undius Kogoya.
“Currently, both of them are still under investigation by investigators,” he said.
Arrest Timika KNPB Chairman
Previously, the Cartenz Peace Law Enforcement Task Force Team and Mimika Police arrested the Chair of the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) Timika with the initials YA in Timika, Mimika Regency, Papua. YES got arrested tonight.
“It is true that the chairman of the KNPB Timika YA was arrested,” said the Director of Crime and Crime of the Papuan Police, Kombes Faizal Rahmadani, as quoted by Antara, Friday (23/9/2022).
The arrests were made at around 20.00 WIT. YA was allegedly involved in supplying ammunition to KKB.
“(Arrested) Regarding the alleged involvement in supplying ammunition to the armed criminal group (KKB),” he said.
Faizal said that currently YA is still being investigated by investigators at the Mimika Police Station.
