Bandarlampung (ANTARA) – The South Lampung Regency Government attended the 2022 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) on Government Accounting and Financial Reporting virtually, through the zoom meeting application, Thursday.
The activity was attended by Assistant for General Administration for South Lampung Badruzzaman, Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Wahidin Amin and other staff from the South Lampung BPKD meeting room.
The National Working Meeting was organized by the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) of the Republic of Indonesia with the theme “Guarding Financial Accountability and Performance To Recover Faster, Rise Stronger”.
In his report, the Director General of Treasury, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Hadiyanto said that the Accounting National Working Meeting is an annual agenda that becomes a prestigious event for State Finance managers.
Where, the Ministry of Finance always tries to maintain and improve the essence and quality of the implementation of the accounting National Work Meeting from year to year, among others, by raising various themes and aspects of performance accountability.
“With this morning’s theme, we hope that this theme will be able to become energy for all financial managers and performance managers in both the Central Government and Regional Governments in increasing performance accountability and financial accountability simultaneously,” said Hadiyanto.
Hadiyanto said that the National Ranking was aimed at giving appreciation for the Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to the Ministry of Finance, Institutions and Local Governments.
“Realizing the strengthening of financial quality and accountability and performance in the Central Government and Regional Governments and increasing awareness and commitment as well as maintaining the commitment to equal steps in accelerating the recovery and revival of the national economy,” he said.
At the same time, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, said that this activity is an extraordinary achievement, seeing the journey of the Republic of Indonesia in developing accountable and transparent accountability of regional finance.
“Of course we hope that from this activity, not only in terms of the status of the BPK audit results, but what is equally and very important is how the APBN and APBD can really be useful. State financial instruments at the center and regions in solving problems faced by the Indonesian nation and state,” he said.
Sri Mulyani Indrawati said, there were a lot of changes in the budget that had to be made when COVID-19 hit, then the impact and consequences for the community were very unpredictable, so they had to change the budget quickly because the APBN and APBD became extraordinary instruments. in protecting society.
“Well, the changes made must be responsive to the situation at hand but remain accountable. In an extraordinary pandemic atmosphere, it illustrates that Indonesia together sees the threat to respond responsibly even though with different tasks and roles,” he said.
“I as the Minister of Finance say thank you, I know that on the ground the challenges are extraordinary that all of our joint efforts can run and can keep the community in order to restore the Indonesian economy and we hope that the recovery will be faster and rise stronger,” he concluded.
It is known, the South Lampung Regency Government won the WTP award 5 times in a row from 2017 to 2021 from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.
